I received a notice today from the Secretary of State in Illinois, apparently a random survey wanting to make sure we have car insurance as of a certain date. Seemed rather important so I filled it out right away and threw a stamp on the envelope. It was time to take Carter for a walk and I figured I would just drop it in a mailbox along the way.
And we walked.
And we walked.
And we walked some more.
No mailboxes.
How is that possible? We walked a good five blocks in every direction around us but there are no mailboxes on the street.
Am I missing something here? Were they removed for some reason? Were they ever there?
