This weekend in downtown LA there is a huge open house taking place. I should know since H has to work it! It’s officially called Downtown Open House 2008.
I think the theory behind the entire event is to keep people in the core for some point of the weekend and use it as one big advertisement for why people should move downtown. At the same time for those of us new to the area it serves as an opportunity to see some new things, some hidden gems if you will, about the area.
It will be interesting to see how the entire thing goes off – good luck downtown!
