It’s the Night Before Christmas

How about the weather here?!?! I will take some pictures and post them up when we get home, but let’s just say it’s a white Christmas.

It’s December in Canada so I expect cold weather and some snow, but there are an awful lot of the two right now.

Getting around the side streets has been a chore in my dad’s vehicle. If there’s one thing I hate it’s sliding around narrow streets with cars parked on both sides. It certainly made me appreciate the car we bought last year that has AWD. Back in Chicago we could hop in and drive right out of our snow filled parking spot and navigate the streets of Chicago with ease.

Of course in LA our AWD drives nothing for us, but our car does had a massive sunroof so all it not lost.

Yesterday saw H sleep the better part of the morning and early afternoon following her night of flying. We visited a few people and had  a good day …

Tonight we are having Christmas dinner with some of my family, and will visit some more people before and after that.
