So the little fella came yesterday to look at the washer/dryer and of course he needs a part that will take 2 days to arrive. Apparently they don’t stock the needed part even those this is a common repair. Seems like a good way to collect $50 for the service call.
We are without laundry in our unit for who knows how long which means I took a good hard look at my sock and underwear drawer this morning and must make some tough decisions over the next few days.
In other news we picked up the car and apparently the pump has been replaced and the oil changed. While the car was there we asked them to check out the super loud and annoying rattle coming from the back left portion of the sunroof. This is the third time we’ve asked about this issue and it’s the third time they tell us they can’t detect anything. Of course this morning I open the sunroof on the drive to get dry cleaning and the rattle is apparent, clear as day. It’s so loud I can hear it with the stereo turned up half way. Going to send an e-mail to the dealership I guess and then another one to Subaru of America. I’m guessing they don’t want to rip open the headliner, diagnose the problem, fix it and put everything back together while the car is under warranty. Especially when we didn’t buy the car there.
It’s 9:30 am and I am walking around waiting for something else to break.
