We’ve really come to enjoy Top Chef Masters and hope it returns for a second season next summer.
Having said that, I really prefer Kelly to Padma when it comes to hosting the show.
Kelly seems to know her role – host of the show. She chimes in once in a while about a dish but generally leaves everything to the judges. Padma tries to come across as an authority figure in the culinary world which I don’t think you get to be just because you write a cook book or two. Also, marrying Salmon Rushdie doesn’t scare me into respecting you more.
So who do you prefer?
Kelly?
Padma?
(I had to go three pages into Google Images to find an appropriate Padma photo – she gets naked a lot)

It took me a few episodes to get into TOP CHEF MASTERS, but now I am hooked!
Kelly is good, and while Padma has pissed me off with her PARIS HILTON type career move- I think they are both good. I like the Padma/Tom chemistry.
I am so amped for TOP CHEF Aug 19th. I always hate the first episode, as I am positive there is no worthy contestants…then like always- I warm up to a few. They have really great editing- just when you think you hate a person- they let you see the fun stuff!
Team Kelly or Team Padma? One more stupid move on Padmas part and it is TEAM KELLY!!
Hilary – She is skinny, and could use a cheeseburger or two.
Christine – It’s a great show, isn’t it? Padma only gets points for the recent Carl’s Jr. commercial

I really love this show and was happy to see the Mis en Place challenge last epi…that my favorite Quickfire challenge.
I personally think Padma hits the BONG!! She always looks slightly stoopid!!
That being said- I love the show, hope it continues to keep my interest and if they use both Padma and Kelly- bonus for all of us!
